Lumps and bumps in your breasts are to be expected and are usually just normal breast tissue. At 16, you should be learning what is normal for you. You may find lumps and tenderness that are tied to your menstrual cycle and come and go at the same time every month. These are normal. Cysts are not uncommon, either. They can be aspirated, but they may come back. So if this is a cyst, and they use a needle to remove the fluid, don't be surprised or worried if it comes back. It is highly unlikely that you have breast cancer. 80% of all lumps that make it to biopsy are benign. At 16, I'm sure the likelihood is much less than that, even.
But good for you that you are willing to take your concerns to your doctor and do something about it! Most of the time when we have young girls come visit with concerns such as yours, they are either afraid or embarrassed to talk to their doctors. So keep being proactive! Get to know what is normal for you, and if you find something suspicious, trust me, you will know that it is different.
Hope this helps.
Hugs...
