Onc. appointment tomorrow....

This is my 5 year appointment. Not worried about anything in particular, but it is always nerve-wracking. Would appreciate any extra positive thoughts. Can't wait to hear the "all clear".

My girlfriends gave me a "5 Year Anniversary Party" Saturday night and it really made me stop and think about how blessed I am.

For those of you just starting this journey, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Never give up hope....

Good luck at your onc appointment. And what great friends you have to give you a 5 Year Anniversary Party......how sweet.

I think it is great your girlfriends even realize how much five years means to you!!!They must be great friends. I understand how you can worry just a little about that appointment, but I am thinking positive that it will be fine. Hugs MK

Got the "all clear" today. Felt really good. I will go back in 6 months to take about taking the ovaries/uterus out. I go off tamox. in January and want to do anything I can and Doc thinks doing that is not unreasonable. Not looking forward to menopause at 36, but hey....if it keeps the cancer from coming back, I'll do it.

Thanks to you kind ladies who responded to my post. I appreciate your thoughts.

Hi Julie,
Congratulations to you. May you and Hannah have long and happy lives together. I am (2nd time), also a member of the class of 2000. I have a scan coming up whenever it can be scheduled. Having trouble with that as usual. I sure don't want to go. Will be taking a pink feather with me.
Can you come to Ohio. It would be great to see you again. Love, Di

congratulations Julie on 5 years and an ALL CLEAR.....great news. I too will celebrate 5 years June 27th (surgery date) and it is indeed a major blessing.  Love ~ Joany
