Hi Ladies...Well I am home again and on the mend...Spent 6 days

in the hospital but I am feeling better. Taxotere alone was

not much better than the combination of Xeloda and Taxotere.

Had the same reaction...UGH. confused So it is back to the drawing board. I will see my Onc on May 23rd and decide what to do if anything.

I want to thank all of you for all your sweet posts, prayers

and good thoughts. It means so much to know you all are

with me !

Hi Cathi! I am so glad to hear that you are out of the hospital and home. I was hoping that this last treatment would have been easier. Here's lots of prayers that your onco will have some answers and an easier treatment when you go on the 23rd.

Cathi, I am so sorry your treatments have been so hard on you. It is no fun ending up in the hospital time after time. The doctors need to find something better for you. We try to keep you supplied with love and prayers but we need some cooperation from them, too. And you can tellt hem this old lady said so. LOL. Please take it easy and rest. Yeah I know, you don't want to rest, you want to get going. Love you, MK

what can I say.....I know dh and I missed you so much. We are trying to decide who missed you the most. He says he did because instead of having my coffee with you and letting him read his paper in peace, I am driving him nuts. So he said to send you an extra large hug and kiss from him. Love and hugs from me also. Welcome home lady.  Joyce and Dh too!

Cathi- Welcome home and sorry to hear the treatment has been so rough... hope you can get some rest and feel stronger soon.

welcome home!  I'm glad you're on the mend.  Please keep posting so we know how you're doing.  How are you handling the spring?  Is there anything you can do to cheer yourself?

Seeing your post made my day sweetie. So glad that you are home where you can relax and not be bothered every 5 minutes.

I will be praying that on May 23rd you will find an answer to your treatment plans that won't make you so sick.

Oh, Cath, you are a sight for sore eyes! I'm so happy you are home and feeling better. I am praying that the onc has a new plan for you and something that will be kind to you but not so kind to cancer. Maybe the Xeloda will be back in, since it seemed your rxn to taxotere was the problem? At any rate, I hope they find the right regimen.

In the mean time, take it easy and enjoy some good trashy daytime tv.

Welcome home, Cath.  It was so good to see your post this morning.  Sending prayers that the docs come up with something that is much more gentle on you.  Till then rest and relax; I can send DH out there to watch the court shows on tv. with you.. I think he watches them all.  Love you, Libby
