A new award ............

Ladies, over the years, I have listened to a lot of stories on this board and I think that we need a new award for them. I also think we need a new icon.

I want to introduce the jack@ss award and I would like to award the first one.

My granddaughter, Jordan, has been, unfortunately, visiting with her father. Most people will remember him as the stalker of my daughter, arrested by the Texas Rangers. He's a know drug user but try getting anyone to listen.

Well, he takes her out Friday night and on the way home, he claims that he bent down to pick up something off the floorboard (probably a joint) and ran into a parked car, bad enough for them to have to tow his car away.

Here's the kicker. He doesn't make Jordan put on her seatbelt so she was the one thrown forward and the one with the stitches. I won't get to see her until tomorrow.

I am going to find some blank certificates that I can have my printer fill out for these awards. I'll probably mail his tomorrow.

When you have encountered a true jack@ss, send the particulars and I'll send the certificate.

I am sorry to hear this happened to her.  Hopefully she is alright and won't suffer much emotionally over his inability to parent.  She should have been buckled in and he could be facing a hefty fine or jail time.  Most states have the "click it or ticket" law for seatbelts (some I think are for the front seat only).  And children are always supposed to be belted in until a certain age or weight.  What kind of idiot doesn't do this for a child?  Send him the award!  He is the biggest Jack@ss I know of at this moment.  And thats saying a lot considering my DH's ex wife!

He is such a jack@ss/jerk !!!!! I cant stand it ! He should be in jail for letting Jordan ride without
a seat belt !! Did he at least get a ticket for that ? I sure hope she is feeling better and that the
stiches arent bothering her ...

I totally agree that he is soooooooooo entitled to that award! Doesn't sound like he is much of a father JoAnn..........but I am sure that I don't have to tell you that.

So sorry that Jordan had to have stitches, bless her heart. I bet she was scared to death.

Give her a little hug from me when you see her. Our grandchildren are such precious little things. We need to keep t hem protected from jerks like him. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
