I can't offer any input regarding your questions, but have you asked the doc about putting the port back in? Weekly IV's seems a little overwhelming, even for those of us who are not normally squeamish about them!

Thank you for your welcome! I found out I could take the herceptin every three weeks and I am very thankful for this group. I am using the biggest vein in my arm right now until it gets tired and then we will figure something out. It is going well except for weight gain and swelling, it is not as bad as the doctor made it out to be...
