God I'm so worried, I found a hard lump about a month ago, it's about the size of a Ping pong ball, visited the doctor who sent me to the hosp. Yesterday was my appointment, and I thought I was going to have the triple three test, only to be told they had bumped me up the list and I would get my appointment in around three weeks. .... Omg can't believe I have to wait another three weeks. devil

The doc sent you to the hospital? What did they do? I'm not sure I know what you mean by expecting to have the triple three test. They didn't do a mammogram? You have to wait three weeks for what procedure?

Sorry, 3 weeks ago I found a lump and went to my doctor, she decided to send me to the hosp, I waited 2 weeks for that appointment to arrive. So on my arrival at the hosp, they checked me over and said that they would bump me up the waiting list and that could be three weeks from today, for a mammogram, scan, and biopsy, I was not happy I thought that they were going to do it today, and that was what I was there for. That was what my doctor had told me. Can't believe I have to wait another three weeks for my tests, then another weeks before I get results, then Christmas and public holidays it before be a while before l hear any news.

Oh dear, now I understand. How frustrating to have to wait three weeks. It will all work out in the end, however, if they do a mammogram, a scan (MRI or ultrasound?), and a biopsy. (Did they tell you what kind of biopsy? There are several different kinds.) Usually we only get one of those at a time and we have to wait weeks in between them, so you'll be ahead in the long run and will know for sure. When you only get a mammogram and then have to wait for another test, your mind go crazy. They can tell you fairly quickly after the mammogram if there is anything unusual if there is a radiologist on staff. Surely there is one at a hospital. The biopsy results take a few days. I think I had to wait about a week. Keep in touch and let us know how it's going.
