Okayy, so Im 17 & found this squishy thing in my armpit, like right were my lymph node is. My doctor said my lymph node was swollen, but I also have a rash like thing in between my breasts, and they gave me cream for that but it's not going away. And the rash has this horrible smell, like it's beyond disgusting. And the doctor also said it could be something else if it didn't go away in a few weeks. But it's been a few weeks.. Can anyone relate? Help me please, I'm so confused!

I'm not a doctor, so please remember, I'm just sharing some "regular type people" ideas and thoughts.

If your rash has an odour to it, it's possible that it's a fungal infection. Especially if it's located in an area that can hold a lot of moisture and perspiration.

Did your doctor do a culture of the rash? Is it weeping or leaking? Does it itch? What was the medication he gave you? What diagnosis did he give you (what did he say the name of the rash was?)

I'm not convinced the "squishy thing" in your arm pit is related to a rash on your sternum....but as I said, I'm not a doctor.

It's wet, and it smells horrible, and no it's not itchy. He gave me some cream, but it's not really working.

Sounds like whatever it is it is infected or very yeasty. I would go back to the doctor.
