pregnancy problems

Jaylow, I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis. We have had several women over the years (many of us have been together here for nearly seven years) who have gone through chemo while pregnant. I don't remember what chemo was used, but the babies were born healthy and with lots of hair, while the mamas were bald from the chemo. I hope you have very good doctors. Where do you live? Is there a good breast cancer clinic in your area? How about neo natal specialists? We are here for you if you need our support and love. Another strange thing, I think all the babies have been girls............... Not that it has any significance, but that is what I remember. We do have a couple of active young women who are so busy with babies and treatment we don't hear from them often. Maybe they will see your post and respond. I hope so. I'm so sorry you had to find us, but there is a wealth of info on this site. I found a lump when I was 8 mos preg. but did not find out it was cancer until after i gave birth, however, there is a woman in a support group I go to who had to go through chemo while pregnant. Her daughter is doing fine. Make sure you have alot of support around you! It's been rough physically going through chemo with a little one, so outside help is very important, but my daughter also gives me so much joy. My prayers are with you. Take Care!!
