Jo-Ann is asking for your prayers for her Cruella..

Her dear little grand daughter pulled a big flower pot over on her head.  Her daughter called and was taking the baby to the hospital and Jo-Ann was on her way there, too.  She called and asked me to post for prayers from you all and said she will let me know as soon as she knows anything.  That's about all I can tell you, but I will be praying for Jaidan and Jo-Ann.  This is the dear little one so close to her heart that she babysits often and she calls Cruella because she is so ornery.  She is adorable.  Hugs and many prayers,  MK

Jo-Ann just called back. At the ER they did not take the baby in right away, she was talking and acting fine. Head cuts cause a lot of blood and of course everyone was frightened to death, but once she was cleaned up and the blood stopped flowing she seemed much better. They are still waiting to see if stitches, etc. are necessary. I misunderstood, she pulled a floor lamp over on herself before her mother could get to her to stop it from falling. Sending prayers out for Jo-Ann and her "Cruella".  It's hard to see our little ones get hurt.  I like Bev's observation that the ornery ones have the hardest heads.  Waiting to hear from Jo-Ann that all is well.

Thank you so very much, ladies, for your prayers. Cruella is going to be all right. They glued the scalp back together but didn't do anything for the cut and big goose egg on her forehead.

The lamp was one of those tall things. It was like the one I picked up into the ceiling fan a couple of years ago. Mine was cheap but this one wasn't. At the top, it had the heavy glass inverted bowl. When she started shaking it, Jodi told her NO, but, as MK reported, Jodi wasn't fast enough, and the glass came crashing down, catching Cruella in two places, and terrifying her mother.

I, of course, reacted with my usual calm manner. I had Cruella and Jodi in my car and raced like hell to the er. I'm the best in this family for speeding. I have last year's ticket to prove it. When I dropped her off, her husband was there waiting for her and I headed back to pick the kids up from school.

Jodi had called the school to tell them I would pick them up and they were both angry with me because I was late. Poor babies............

There was no concussion or anything worse than the cuts. I thank God and Mitchell. Jodi is convinced that Mitchell is her children's guardian angel because he has saved them more than once. I think I'll stop yelling at him for dying.

Again, thank you, for prayers that have been answered. I don't know what I would do without all of you.

Geez, Jo-Ann I am so sorry you had to go through this. Never a dull moment. Your Mitchell must be very busy, watching over Cruella and the famous grandmom from teenytiny town. I like the idea that he is watching out for you and yours. So I choose to believe it. Glad all went well. Might want to keep her away from the John Deere for a while. LOL Glad all is well.
