Hi Lori,

So sorry that I haven't been posting lately.  Life has been busy with grandchildren, husband, work, vacation and working on our local Relay for Life.  This weekend our Relay team (from my work) is having a rummage/garage sale.  We had a really good turnout today, hopefully tomorrow it will be just as good.  We have already met our goal and we still have another 4 weeks to go before the big day so we should be well over our goal.

I seem to be getting online later and later these days so I usually do a quick review of the posts to keep updated on how everyone is doing.  

Please know that everyone is always near to my heart.  I miss our old chats , it was a terrific way to really get to know each other. It is a good thing though to see us all LIVING our lives to the fullest ( the thing that we all have learned through this BC experience) and enjoying everyday that we have been blessed to live on this earth.

Thanks for thinking about me....I am still doing chemo..Gemzar.

Three weeks on 1 week off. It isnt nearly as bad as last year.

I usually get a fever for 2 days. Some nausea and flu like

symptoms. In another month or so I will do scans etc to

see how things are going. Tumor markers havent changed

much so I am not encouraged. Oh well, we will see..

 

How are you doing and how are all the wedding plans coming

along ??? How are Leigh and Tavish doing ?? How is the

new house ? Are you settled in ?

Jo-Ann...it is so good to see your posts.  Sounds like the teeny-tinies have invaded teeny-tiny town.  No wonder you don't post as much these days!  Just keep those teeny-tiny fingers out of the rototiller.

Becky is finishing up this years work at school. She works all summer, but the end of school presents extra work. I don't see her often on line. Lib lost her computer just before going to AZ to be with her sister for awhile. BIL is doing chemo. Lib will be back early June and then needs to get a new computer.

I have been out of town for a long weekend and other than that just plain lazy. Today I am going to the Brace Company where they ordered a made to fit abdominal support for me. They called me in for a fitting, not sure if that means it is ready or if it still needs some adjusting, will know in a few hours.

My 14 year old grandson, who is a very talented trombone player has just been accepted into the Fort Worth Youth Symphony Orchestra as one of the youngest ever accepted. Christian is a very special young man. In addition to his music he excels in school work. He got the Principal's Award for his Junior High with the highest GPA in the 8th grade. I have eight other wonderful grandchildren, too! And one special great grandchild and another one due within weeks. Am I lucky or what?
