I was very fortunate on Wednesday to be able to spend some time with Peg Gray. Her husband is here conducting a seminar and she and I got to go to the large outlet mall in Grapevine.

She looks great and I'd like to know why she hasn't aged any since I last saw her. She's still full of fun and just great to visit with. I think we may need to set up a "homecoming" meet this year.

Thanks for the update. I never understood the "divorce" and would love it if we all got together again....

Oh JoAnn,

I would love to see Peg Gray again some day.  I will never forget meeting her in St. Louis, she certainly is a "special" lady.

If you happen to talk to you, please let her know that I still think of her often.

Glad you got to spend some time wth Peg. Mother and I had lunch with her when we were in Maine last summer and Peg and I lunched (and shopped the Mall of America) when she and her hubby were in Minneapolis in the fall. He was attending some sort of conference and she tagged along. We had a great time together. I think a gathering is long, long overdue. Lauri

Ah Dear Cathi, "oldtimer" comes to all of us far too soon, but I have very recently learned to take it in stride. My oldest, Jack, who had the horrible motorcycle wreck I am sure you remember, has informed me that he is going back to dirt bike racing. The one thing he was upset about was that since he was over 40, he had to ride in the "seniors" division. I don't even want to know what that makes me.

Dear Jo-Ann...I, too, am glad to hear that Peg is doing well, and I'm sure you are right...she probably hasn't aged a bit!  There are lots of our old friends that I miss and think of often.  But I also thank the Powers that Are that St. Peter has given us such a great home here at Healing Well...and I remember who found this place for us, as well.  If people think censorship and post deletions are disturbing here, well...they just aren't "old-timers," are they, Jo-Ann!  I think a gathering is a great idea...fall has always seemed to work out well in the past...

Another old timer reporting in. . . I miss all of you lovely ladies. Keith and I had a wonderful dinner with Peg & Mike when we visted Maine. Just as I enjoyed great lunches with Jo-Ann in Tuscaloosa, AL and MK in Grapevine . .and pie with Georgia in DSM . . hmmm . . apparently I like to eat! Hugs to all!

OMG, I haven't seen Peg Gray (she's Pegzilla #1, you know) in a LONG time. Do you suppose we could convince her to come visit us if we can get a gathering put together???? I am totally clueless about what happened previously, and frankly, don't give a flying *****. I'd love to see her again.

If anybody talks to her, tell her "hi" from Pegzilla#2...and Pegzilla #3 is undoubtedly smiling down on us and flapping her (pink) wings. That's where the feathers come from, right???

It has been a LONG time since I have checked in, but when I read "Oldtimers" I immediately knew it was one I wanted to respond to.

I miss Peg Gray and her posts also and have never known what happened and don't care either, but I would love to see you "Oldtimers" again.

Things are going pretty well.  I have 2 grandbabies that keep me busy, as does my work and family.  My youngest graduated from college this spring and has a job where he can conveniently live at home.  It has taken us some adjustments, but all is going well. ha

I promise to check in more frequently.  I am saddened by the losses, but also see there are so many more than need support here, just as I did 7 years ago when I started posting to this wonderful group of "oldtimers".

Jo-Ann, I didn't know Peg Gray, but I sure would like to meet her. I think another get together is called for. I miss all my breast friends and would like to meet the newbies.
