Mk and her husband are on vacation in Tn w/ her family. She had emailed me this news....She became a great-grandmother on Saturday. Her granddaughter gave birth to

Miss Hailey Fox born 6/10/06. She weighed 6lbs 14 oz and is 19" long. She has red hair and MK said that she is absolutely beautiful! Mommy, daddy and baby are all doing fine. She emailed me some pics but I have no idea how to get them on here.

First: That's wonderful. my prayers for a happy and healthy life for the little one.

Second: I never knew you had children at the age of 3.

Third: Don't worry, you'll never be too old to wield a louisville slugger. Rage knows no age.

Thanks for letting us know, Deb. I know how thrilled my mother was when she met her first great-grandchild, so I can only imagine how excited MK is. What a wonderful thing for Miss Mary Kay. Happy hugs, Lauri

Congrats to you! This calls for chocolate. Thanks so much for the the reason to celebrate. I have been looking for a good excuse to get some chocolate and boy oh boy is this one good! Thanks for all the good wishes. Fortunately Miss Hailey lives not three miles from GGma. She was here yesterday for about five hours, so I got to hold and love on her. She is a real beauty and it is not that I am prejudiced, of course. The trip to TN was planned several months ago. We went to our son's cabin with two of our kids and spouses, just six adults. We had fun and did a little shopping at an outlet mall. Carter's got the most $$ buying cute outfits for Miss Hailey. Now I need to rest up. My main computer is not working properly. The grandsons who dog sat for us brought their own computers and unhooked ours, now my wireless mouse is not working. So I have to get them back to see what is wrong. Glad they can help. When I am rested I will catch up on the board. Have a great Sunday. Hugs MK
