From the board, it looks like we need a Power Prayer Sunday. How about 2pm CST?

Please add threads to this post for all those who need to be held up in prayer.

Jo-Ann: This sounds like a wonderful idea. I would appreciate it if  you all would say a prayer for my eldest daughter. I think that she is about to hit rock bottom. She is drinking and using drugs. Someone told me this evening that they had heard that she is selling herself to get money for her habit. Now I don't know if this is true or not as our little community loves to gossip. School starts on Monday and I don't want her calling and upsetting the girls nor me. Also, this tough love is going to be getting very difficult if she no longer has a place to live. Not that I will let her come back here but when I say "NO" then she uses the girls and physical violence as threats.

We need to include Cathi, in hopes that the surgery takes care of the problem once and for all and brings relief to her pain.

And I need calming, soothing vibes as I deal with last minute wedding details...but it's all good!

Jo-Ann, What a great idea. I will be praying that God, research, medicine and doctors all come together in one spot and win this battle against all cancer and stop making angels out of so many women, with special prayers for young women with children, and those that never got the chance to have them. I would love to see every woman live long enough to enjoy the total exhaustion of watching grandchildren. Prayers for young mothers that are dealing with the results of having been fighting this disease, and the disaster it can make in a young family. There are many long term effects with BC in a young family that are never thought of as part of the toll this disease takes. I hope and pray that this will be the year that it ends. On a very selfish note I pray all goes well with Cathi. Lori, I wish I had calming vibes to share. Hope the soothing vibes arrive in time to make it the happiest wedding in the world. Thanks Joyce

Jo-Anne,good idea. Please pray for my finances my husband is not working right now because of back problems and its all on me to pay the bills right now and my job is very physical and i get tired but i have to keep working for the benefits.God has carried me through my terrible journey and i know he is not going to leave me now,God is Awsome. Ladies: I just received a call from one of my "adopted" dd's. This young lady has very little family. Her Aunt Janie, who is a nurse and in her late 40's, was in a horrible car accident this morning in Springfield, Mo. She was in the passenger seat and their car was hit, broad side, by another one traveling at 70 mph. Almost every bone in her body is broken. Her neck is broken where you bend it. Both of her arms, legs, pelvis, facial bones, back etc are broken. She has lost one eye. They have put her in a full body cast at the moment just to make sure that she doesn't move. They are hoping to put a halo on her later today but at this moment they are just trying to stabilize her. They have called in a specialist from St. Louis. Please remember her not only in our prayers tomorrow but now and after.

My prayers will be going out to everyone.

Please include my friend Beth, who is battling ALS at 40. She really is not doing well.
