that I had my last chemo. I haven't posted much in a while but I still come here and read and see how evryone is doing. I'm so glad I have made it through this, and I still can't believe that I have breast cancer. I had a mammo a couple of weeks ago only on the infected breast and everything was fine. I go in another 6 months to get both done then it will only be once a year. The hotflashes have been horrible, I'm still dealing with neuropathy (sp?), I get very achy while sitting at my desk at work, mostly in my hips. The best thing that will hopefully come out of this is that once I stop the Zoladex shots my period won't come back. It's been nice for the last year not having one due to the shots, but the Onc seems to think it won't come back once they stop giving me the shot which should be in September next year.
My hair is finally about 4 inches long, I still don't have eyebrows, my eyelashes go thru thinning periods, have been shaving my armpits about every 2 months, the hair on my legs sometimes grows fast and sometimes it doesn't. I don't think I have shaved my legs in about 2 weeks now and it doesn't need shaving now.
Like someone else said, "the disease that keeps on giving".
I wish everyone a very Happy and safe New Year and hope that everyone had a great Christmas/Holiday (for those that don't celebrate Christmas). And that we continue to stay in touch even though it may not be often. You ladies have been great and I'm glad to have met you.
