I'm truly grateful for my house. I can't get over how I still swoon while driving towards it. Never in my wildest dreams......
OK, now that I've been appropriately grateful.....I'm having a really really hard time here, ladies. See, DH got me a new set of dishes from Gander Mountain and I'm having a hard time seeing past them. They have these flies around the rim and a big trout in the middle. ALL of my gifts came from Gander Mountain this year, ladies. Someone needs to talk to this boy. I tenderly broached the subject of returning them and he was hurt, so I retreated. I'm gonna have to get tough though, I think.
Favorite gift: I got waders so I can work on my pond come spring. I'm trimming and weeding it by hand and have to get in there to do it. Now I need heavy duty rubber gloves to protect my compromized arm. Last time I weeded, my right arm was scratched badly and I didn't feel it because the water was so cold. I could have really done some damage, considering the lymph node removal that was done. I didn't even remember about protecting the arm. Mom's friend with BC reminded me when she saw the scratches. How soon we forget.
Now back to the real question: Does the fact that I asked for the waders make getting the dishes my own fault?
