My brother was taken to the hospital today out in Phoenix.  They don't know what it wrong with him except that he is running a fever and has red spots breaking out on him.  At first the doctor was thinking a tick bite since he and his wife was up in the mountains last weekend but they are also going to do tests for menengitis.

I hope you hear some good news soon, that he has something very treatable and is on his way to recovery quickly. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs MK

Annette, I am so sorry about your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Brother and his family. I pray it is something very treatable and that he is home recovering very soon.

Annette, I prayed for your brother as soon as I read your post this morning.  I also prayed for you because I would be feeling worse being that far away from him.  Thought you might be, too.  May God comfort you and heal your brother.

ANNETTE, I AM PRAYING AND TYPING AT THE SAME TIME. I WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE HIM AND HIS FAMILY IN MY PRAYERS. I WILL OFFER HIM UP DURING INTERCESSION THIS EVENING AT MASS.

It is meningitis but they are still running tests.  I talked to him this morning and he sounded good.  Kinda doopey but good.  They think it is viral meningitis.  Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Annette, a few things about Rocky Mountain. First, if there are red spots on the palms of his hands, it's RM. If you press on the spots on anywhere else and they stay red, it's RM. I am far more familiar with that than I ever wanted to be.

Whatever it is, he's in my prayers.

Annette, I can tell you my brother had meningitis and he is fine. I pray your brother has the same results. I know I was a mess until he was fine again. Thinking of you all. Joyce

Kevin came home Wed.  I spoke with him Tuesday night and he was complaining about the food. They still are not sure what he has but I am guessing since they left him come home he is not contagious.  The hospital sent his test to Atlanta for more testing.  Thank you all for the kind words.

Yea, I am glad he could go home.  I really feel we all heal better when we are home.  I will keep you all in my prayers.

So glad that Kevin is doing better. There is no place like home......just like the movie says!!!!

You are a special sister to your brother.

I'm so sorry you all got such a scare.  I hope he'll be ok like Joyce's brother.  I'm praying here in the catskills.

Annett i am praying for him till we hear back from you ok. I hope that it is nothing to bad for you and your whole family to deal with. I have a old saying as well " god will only give you what you can handle" at times we think we cant do it but WE CAN.. love to you and your family in this trying time.
