My onc's office called today. I had an MRI of my shoulder done after bone scan and x-rays. She went through the litany of all that is wrong with my shoulder, including a long list of "-itis" afflictions, torn tendons and ligaments, and erosion of the something or other bone. And then she said, "the good news is, there is no evidence of metastatic disease."
WooHoo! The rest of the stuff didn't really matter. She could have told me my arm was in danger of falling off, and I would've still been happy dancing.
And that's what I love about cancer. It makes anything else seem like good news!
Happily getting ready to add another specialist to the growing list.
Love and hugs...
