Everyone was here yesterday for Easter dinner. As usual she was right in there doing everything from carrying heavy chairs to running the table. She says she feels good. She also mentioned taking Femara. I thought she told me Letrozol but I think the Dr gave her samples of that, and maybe when she had to fill a Rx he changed it? She goes for her third appointment this morning. She will get another IV of the bone strengthening drug and have a blood test and a bone scan. As happens so many times when she is here I was doing my BP and sugar test. She took the cuff and did her BP and as usual it was VERY high. 139/105. I raised my eyebrows and said again why hasn't a doctor given you BP medicine? She just shook it off and said oh well, what's the difference? Grrrr. She is too tough.
Anyhow, as I mentioned before a woman she works with bought a Chi machine and a FIR oven. You can find them by Googling 'All about Chi'. They are supposed to increase mebtabolism, help circulation, help lymphadema, and so on. She says her waist has gone down about 8 inches. She had the tram and the midriff/waist area was quite loose and fatty. I bought one to see if it would help me with exercise and getting rid of some of the fluid in my abdomen. Mine just came so I can't report any results yet. Will let you know.
Thanks for asking, we are doing fine. As I tell my grand daughter who worries about her mother, she could have an accident tomorrow and there is nothing gained by worry, she will live as long as the good Lord determines, we just need to love her and let her know we are here for her.
Hugs, MK
PS And how are you Miss Glenda?????? Hope all is well in your world.
PPS I read this post over and saw so many mistakes I had to edit and fix it.
