I am fairly new here.....But, I have posted  alot since just finding out I had Breast cancer.

I know I was not born under the best sign,

 but HOW COMMON IS THIS>>>>>TODAY< I found out that my sister in law has breast cancer....calcification breast cancer????? We both went for our mammograms the same week, and both found out we have cancer....

WHAT A  week...

she just had her first baby, my first nephew this year he is 11 months old and the only thing that puts a smile on my face these days.

This all seems so UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it possible she is still breastfeeding or recently weaned her son? I had a mammogram at the age of 37 due to a lump and I was still nursing my child who was about one at a time. They found microcalcifications. A surgeon looked at them and I had a followup mammogram six months later which was okay...everything was stable. Just thought I'd mention that.

hello,  how did you find out it was calcification breast cancer?  was it in one breast or both?  god bless u

they just did a mri and also seen something in the other breast.
we are just waiting on all the test results with hers.
i just can't blieve this is happening.
the only good thing is that we are going through it together.
i had an mri biopsy at 7 am, hers was at 3 pm so i called her and told her what to expect.
i wish we were at the same hopsital, we are both in chicago but different hospitals
