Oh Jesus, what's going to happen next?

We all know that things come in threes but this is beyond all reason. Someone sent me one of those chain email things where you have to send it to x to the power of 10 other people or horrible things will happen. This one was about flowerless rose stems with lots of thorns.

I didn't even get to finish reading it, let alone sending it along (which I never do), when I got bit by a mouse. Yep, that's right. You didn't read wrong. I got bit by a mouse. It came under my computer desk and must have thought my toe was food. Dãmned thing hurt like hell and bled all over. Those bãstards have sharp teeth. This is an open declaration of war.

Now, I live out in the middle of nowhere, not as much as MK though, and mice are a fact of life. Every so often, the feral cat situation gets out of hand and someone in the area kills them off, and I haven't seen any for a while. I didn't even know there was a mouse in the house.

So, I have to call the dr. I'm putting sticky traps all over the place. I don't know how long I have before I have to consider rabies shots. Say a prayer that I trap the thing. I hope this is the end for a long, long while. I also hope I get to torture it on the sticky trap before I have to take it in. I think I will spend the day making a mouse-sized iron maiden. Perhaps the rack or the cat-o-nine-tails. That little bãstard doesn't know just who in the hëll he's messing with. There are some fire ants I can refer him to but they're all dead.

Really, Jo-Ann.  The things people will do just to get us to shake our heads!!!!  This is crazy!  Glad you don't have a scare of cancer like you did a few weeks ago, but rabies???  What a pain!  Hope you catch the little mutha and feel free to turn midevil on him!

 

My cats definately manage this problem.  We see them all the time (dead).  The one in my car was the funniest.  There he was, the beady-eyed little thing, right on the floor of the back.  I turned to look because I heard something and there he was.  Freaked me right out.  The nest caused my engine light to go on, too.

Joyce, that's what the rack's for. I intend to torture the truth out of him. I will set out more traps to see if there are any more. I intend to extract the truth. What mouse would possibly lie while being subjected to the iron maiden?

I also found out on the internet that there hasn't ever been a case of rabies being spread to a human by a mouse so I don't think I will worry. However, they did say they can carry a lot of germs.

I do have one happy thing to report. The skunk who decided to go under my house and let me know of his dislike of the clothes washer being used has moved. The other day I saw a snake crossing the road while I was driving and I aimed right for him. Squished that little wriggler. You know, Joyce, maybe this being out in the middle of nowhere is all it's cracked up to be. I may have to think this one over as I build the instruments of torture.

Do they really have little guillotines to use on cigars? If so, I may get one of those for the coup de grace. I hate meeses to pieces.
