Anyone that can give me some help, I would greatly appreciate it.
I am 36 and went for a baseline mamo. They found a 1/2 inch complex cyst. (no current pain from it)
Ultrasound confirmed that the contents is not quite fluid not is it totally solid. They suggest to try an asperation (but the Dr. already told me that it most likely will not work because the contents is more like "pudding" as she described it) If the asperation does not work, they will do a core biospy.
1. Can this come back cancerous?
2. How painful is the asperation?
3. How bad and/or painful is the core biospy?
I have never heard of a cyst being "pudding" like - usually fluid filled or straight solid - but not what has been described to me.
Please, anyone that has had a core biospy and/or asperation, please let me know the level of pain associated with this procedure.
Thanks!
