I wondered if you had seen the good news about Carolyn.  She hasn't ridden a horse since she went back on chemo but she still loves them.  Her husband calls them her "hayburners"!  We are so desperate for rain that there is virtually no pasture anywhere.  Every time we see it in the forecast they come along and move it back and then it disappears off the chart.  We were to get rain tomorrow and for the next four days.  Now this morning it says Mon and Tues.  I know draught was bad in GA, how about in NC? 

I'm waiting to hear from the diabetic doctor today what to do, the first week on insulin was not much of an improvement, so I am sure she will either up the dosage or try another kind.  What fun!

Yes, I try to stop by ever so often, especially to check up on Carolyn - God bless her.  We still have our horses too, but do have enough pasture grass - NOW.  During the last of '06 and all of '07, we had a terrible drought.  The well at my rental house went dry.  Of course, lol, it didn't help it that former city people lived there and decided to reseed the lawn, water it every day, and power wash the house!  What morons - that had to find someplace else to move to.  :)  We're back to normal for the present in my area although the western part of the state is still extremely dry.  Global warming anyone???

 

I'll come back and check in to find out what your doctor had to say about your insulan dosage.  It's been over 11 years now for me, old friend, ned.  Still heavily involved with Relay for Life.  Tell Carolyn we're working hard to help us all.

She put the dosage up 1/3 but believe it or not my blood sugar has been a little higher in the morning. Carolyn seems to be fine. I have not talked to her for over a week because she is busy all the time. I let her call me. We are looking for a few days of rain. Hope it happens!!! Hugs MK
