Hi Connie,
I have a question for you if you don't mind...
A friend of mine is an 11 year BC survivor. About 8 months ago they discovered tumors on her liver, pancreas and esophogus. She just completed six months of Doxil and Taxol and her latest MRI showed that the tumors are gone.
Next stop is rads. They are going to radiate the pancreas and esophogus but her onc told her the liver can't be radiated. So they are going to admit her to the hospital and do a direct line of chemo straight to the liver. She said that her onc said there would be no side effects of this because it goes straight to the liver and no where else.
Is this like your seeding? Or is the seeding another option for her if this doesn't work?
Thank you in advance if you have the time and/or energy! to answer this. From the day I was first dx'd you have always been the smartest person I know to come to with these questions!
My friend's name is Kathy and she is 54 years old.
Thank you Connie,
Love,
Jessie
