well i went to get a mamogram 2 weeks ago in october got my results a week later my left breast is normal but my right one they saw a lump so now im worry to death i have to go for a ultrasound and a biopsy ok now im freaking out doctor tells me dont worry its probably nothing im like what still freaking out i just look at my doctor i said ok smile and left ok now my appointment is nov 10 2 weeks to worry my self sick i just turn 40 in june please any advise on this what is a needle biopsy how long on me getting results back

Worrying yourself sick won't change the results, so try not to worry. It could be nothing! 75-80 percent of all biopsies are benign. I know two weeks seems like it will take forever, but that is really pretty quick turnaround. It's often six to eight weeks for a followup appointment at the breast center I go to. I've never had a needle biopsy, so I'll let someone with more knowledge answer that one.
