All the way back I felt like we should have gone with you all to the cemetary. It was just that I would have had to double back east to get Jo-Ann home so she would be there for her grandkids on Tuesday. She talked about the military service as she told you, but never in our wildest dreams would we have thought of a fly over. That just shows even more how special Melody was to everyone no matter where lives crossed. Her beautiful smile and her wonderful attitude impressed everyone who met her. She was loved by all. I tried to read your message to my husband and couldn't, so I finally printed it and handed it to him and said "Read this and you will understand how special that young woman was!" He was amazed, but those of us who knew and loved her know she deserved every salute the military gave back to her. And the service at Brooks, too? Were you able to go? Prayers for you all, Mary K.

That is sooooo cool! Well, Mel has been in battle for years. What a wonderful tribute to a beautiful lady.
L&H,
Rita
