Hey:
That genetic testing costs a bunch, it seems. I'm getting quite the bill. gotta take care of it the old fashioned way. I wasn't totally clear that they weren't going to participate in my insurance's idea of payment, either. I usually keep up on that stuff. Guess I had a little going on. I really wouldn't have gotten it done if I had known. It wasn't that necessary to me. It came out uncertain, of course.
I've got some appointments coming up. I'm seeing a new gynecological oncologist to discuss the hysterectomy/oopher issue. I'm now thinking leaving the cervix and keeping the rest. (sexual issue there and I don't want an unpleasant surprise). This doc should give me a good idea of what to do, he just does reproductive surgery and that's all he does. He's not a ob-gyn who does so many different things. I'd feel more comfortable with that. That's next Tuesday, 11:30. Then, in the afternoon, I'm seeing the onc for the three month thing. We'll also discuss the other doc's recommendation. The next tuesday, I have the mammo. I get an annual mammo and an annual mri, alternating every six months. The Mammo is only for the right breast, though. I'm going to ask for both to be done.
That's all the news that is news.
