Kind of funny story related to the vets...We have moved from here and yon and back again many times over...I've actually lost count of the homes we have bought and sold! But I've seen most of the U.S. by moving, I can tell you that!
I always said that I wished it were as easy to find a pediatrician as it is to find a vet. Vets go into their line of business because they love animals. Not so with pediatricians, or so has been my experience.
One day my four year old refused to take off her dress so the pediatrician could do her annual physical. She fought like a little banshee, (hmmm...where have I heard that word used before?) and the doctor looked at me and said, "Well, we're just going to have to show her who's in charge here!" I gave him one of those looks that only a livid mom can give and told him, "I think it's perfectly obvious who is in charge here." I picked up my child, left that office without so much as a backward glance, and never went back. Had she been sick and NEEDED an exam, it might have been different!
I certainly hope that man got out of the kid business.
Love and hugs...
