tomoxifen

After completeing 7wks of radiation, and have been on tomoxifen for a year, noticing body aches and having alot of pain in my right leg in the hip area....and feeling very tired...is anyone experiencing these symptoms?

I've had a lot of those symptoms... and thankfully, they have all been due to the fact that I am just getting old!!! One thing you'll notice for awhile... every new ache and pain could be "something." So always check them out with your oncologist. Here's hoping your aches and pains are nothing more than a result of living longer!

I was able to stay on Tamoxifen for 2 years and 10 months before stopping. My risk of recurrence was so low that I could do so with my doctor's approval. I did experience hip pains, leg cramps, and fatigue. I'm happy to report that those symptoms went away after Tamoxifen, so, at least in my case, the side effects were not permanent. I hope you find relief and can stay on the medication as long as is best for you.
