Prayers please

My ex husbands mom passed away last night. She was in the hospital and caught pneumonia. She only lived a few hours after they said that. She was only in the hospital for a fall and I know the family was shocked. My ex is one of 5 children. Also his dad is having a hard time. I've invited him to come here for dinners when Steve comes which is often. He is a very sweet man. Thank you, Love, Di

I am so sorry to hear this. According to what the dr. told me... He said the reason so many pass after they fall is that something is wrong and that is why they fell. I know my MIL made it to 96 and the day she fell even though she did not break anything... she looked up and said this is it. Three weeks later she was gone. It really comes as a shock when you think they are still so healthy. Prayers for you all, and hugs. Joyce

My prayers are with you and your ex's family.  Losing someone is so much harder when it is sudden.  Your mind can't begin to grasp the idea for a while.

 

How wonderful that you maintained a close friendship with your ex.  I have 2 ex's and one is a great friend the other a stinker.  It isn't easy to stay friends but it can be done and I'm sure you provide him and his family with much comfort.
