pain in left breast and spinal cord

hi,
i am 21 yrs old. for the past 10 days i have been experiencing sudden pain in left breast and spinal cord. it lasts for about 1 or 2 minutes. mostly the pain occurs during night time. my mom had breast cancer in left breast. she had surgery and medications. now she is back to normal. am afraid that i may have breast cancer. pls help me in finding out what may be my problem.

No one on the internet can tell you what is wrong or why you are having this pain. It could be any number of things. You should make a doctor's appointment and get a medical opinion. While this is unlikely to be breast cancer, you should have a doctor who knows your family history and can teach you how to do a self-breast exam, what to look for, and what not to be concerned about. You should also talk about when to start having mammograms. And you should also talk what precautions you can take to lessen your risk of developing breast cancer.

Make that appointment, okay? It's important!
