6mm lump

 I am 65. Doc has been watching tiny dot on one breast since Sept. Needed 3 mo. checkup, found it to be smaller in Dec. Yesterday found to be 6mm (I asked). Biopsy is tomorrow and I should have results Fri!  Mom died of breast canc 40 yrs ago but not much was known then...only 54, but she waited TOO long to admit she found lump which metasticized.  A rib on that side has been hurting me for at least 6 mos and I have a large lipoma on left side of breast.  I know I should calm down about this but it's hard. Both parents passed from cancer. Anyone else have the rib pain and lipoma too? Lipoma is not encased. Has any lipoma been linked to cancer?

Thanks Bev. Biopsy is 3/27 and I will know something then. I looked at ultrasound pics and saw lump...has 6 triangle shaped things growing out of center, seems to have calcificatiions in middle. Doc did not like edges. Surgeon says may be able to remove almost all of it during biopsy. Still anxious but thank you for your remarks and glad you are OK!
