Hi guys,
I'm very new here and not even sure if this is where I belong. I just wanted a bit of advise and info I guess.
I went to see my doc last week as my left nipple has been leaking for a while now. I just put it down to hormones as I have PCOS.
The doc examined me and said that the tissue in my left felt different to the right and that she could also feel a hard area in the left too. I haddnt even thought to examine myself. So she decided to refer me to the hospital and do a blood test to check my hormones.
I got a call yesterday to say my hormones are all normal and I have an appointment a week on monday.
I did post this already but I want to ask if anyone else has experienced nipple discharge and found a lump and what the outcome was. I don't have any pain or itchiness or anything.
Thanks

Hello, so I have my appointment on Monday at the breast clinic.
I'm very nervous. I was kind of hoping that someone on her may have had similar symptoms and be able to give me their experience.

How did it go? I have PCOS too, so I understood why it seemed normal.
I have a thing, cause I was a CNA, its called "it doesn't hurt by asking to be safer than sorry". I think you catch the drift.

Well they could feel a lump but it didn't show on ultrasound so they sent the discharge sample for cytology, I think it is. So get the result in a few days hopefully.
I'm getting discomfort under my arm on that side too but I guess that might just be because im a bit tense.
