stage 2d cancer

my aunt has been dx with stage 2d cancer, has anyone heard of this and what does that mean

Not sure....I have only heard of a and b with stage II. Cancer usually goes from 1 to 4, with different levels in between. For example, I was a IIa.

Stage II is still considered "early", as it has not apparently spread beyond the local area. However, it could have spread to the nodes which can still mean it is serious. Serious, but treatable. Some people who have cancer spread to the lymph nodes are treated and never have to deal with cancer again.

Sorry I can't help with the staging info either. Maybe someone else will have some info. Meanwhile why don't you try googling staging of breast cancer and see what you get? I think I will try it, too. As Lori told you stage II is not the worst for sure. Hopefully we can find out for you. Hugs MK
