Thanks Jo-Ann!  I'm an official RADIATION grad now!

I am so glad for you. It feels good when it is over. When I was finishing up chemo I kept saying I felt like a kid at Christmas, so the day I finished my family gave my Christmas gifts, my oldest daughter even found Christmas paper to wrap my gift in. I have a very wonderful family. Wishing you only the very best of health.

An official Rad Grad! My onc gave me a diploma when I finished chemo, it was very cute and special. And I do believe Miss Jo-Ann sent me a certificate when I hit 5 years too....she is our official Congratulator! (Thanks, Jo-Ann!)

Congratulations rad grad, Mia.  Glad that's over.  The hospital I went to for rads gave every graduate a plant.  When we arrived for treatment and saw a plant we knew there would be another graduate.  I looked forward to seeing the plant there when I finished (even though I don't have a green thumb).  Nice touch, Miss Jo-Ann.  Hugs, Libby

Mia: CONGRATS!!!!! How fantastic that you have this behind you now! Ahhhh, our Jo-Ann. Isn't she something else?! When I was having rad, there was the same group of people there every day. We became almost like family. So, when the first of our group "graduated", we had a yellow rose and then went out to lunch or dinner. This continued, even those that had already completed their treatments came back for the celebration, until the last of our group graduated. We still stay in touch today. Donna, I love the "Christmas gift" story. I keep a Christmas tree up in my office year round plus about 30 santas and snowy domes.

Congrats again Mia. Please continue to watch your skin closely. Remember, it will continue to "cook" for awhile after treatments are done.
