I just saw a story on the local news here about
2 identical twins, aged 32. Sherrie and Dawn who are very close. One was dx'd with BC at 25, the other at 27. A couple years later, one was dx'd with mets to a lung. Not long after, the other was dx'd with mets to brain, chest wall, bones and 1 other place that I forgot.
Can you believe it? Sure sounds like a terrible genetic component in this case, but what a sad situation. Both are married, and at least one has young children. They are best friends and seem to be a great support for eachother.
I'm looking for the link to the story, can't find it yet...
L&H,
Lori
