Hello everyone.  Just got back from 5 days at the lake and boy was it ever needed.  We had a great time.  I have to share with you that we just bought a new truck and when we were getting out at the camp site a pink feather drifted out of the drivers side floorboard.  Now I repeat this is a brand new truck and I have no idea how that pink feather got there, but I know what it meant and did for me.  I'm Back!  Last week I had my annual Onc appt and everything looked fine.  whew...was sweating that one.  But, the best news came Sunday at the lake.  My son and his wife and my precious granddaughter came down to visit at the lake and my DGD announced that she is going to be a big sister!!!  Yes!  I going to have another grandbaby!!  I am so excited!  Yes, finally life is good again.  Sorry I have been absent, but I will try to do better now.

I guess the mysterious pink feather was an omen of good news to come. Congratulations. I'm on #8 now and the feeling of waiting for each one is just as exciting as the first time.

This evening's toast will be to you and for many more years and grandchildren to enjoy.

Congratulations, Grandma Sara!!!!! How exciting! Also, I'm so happy for you that your tests are normal! Way to go! Still an odd thing about that feather - definitely a great sign of happiness to come!

The pink feather must have come from me thinking about you so much lately, wondering where you were and how you were doing. I was in northern KY Friday through yesterday visiting kids, grandkids and that new great grandbaby. DH went with me and time was at a premium so I did not connect with anyone. Glad to hear you had a great vacation and even better that you got such good news about a new grandbaby. Hugs MK

Congrats on the new grandbaby. Aren't they the best gift that God can give us? I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my 4th grandchild, my first grandson. We have already dubbed him "The Little Prince"! I even found a bib that had those words on it!

Fantastic news about your onco checkup. No matter how far out of treatment we are, those checkups are always one of the most stressful times we have.

Pink feather falling out of a new truck....I would definitely take that as a sign that there are lots of peeps thinking about you and nothing but good things to come.

I firmly believe in signs and that was a great one!  How exciting to have another grandchild on the way.  I can only imagine, as I have no children.  Congratulations on everything!

Welcome back, and congratulations!!! Awwww, babies are definitely a gift to the world. My grandbaby will be 5 next month, and wants her mommy and I to take her to Disneyland for her birthday so she can ride the rollercoasters. She loves them!!!!

You're just arriving, and I'm just leaving. LOL Love this time of year.
