Thank you so much for your card.  You are always the first to send one.  I received it Thursday.  Friday was my first taxol and it helped knowing I had friends who cared.

Thanks for the card, also!  It was so thoughtful of you.  I haven't tried the Milky Way cake yet, but will some day soon.  I've just recently started baking again.

Libby, I can not tell you how much I too appreciate your cards. You have a way of knowing just when one is needed. You have a real gift my friend. I also have a sneaking suspicion that MK is correct. Receipts for cards and postage on one side of the scale and receipts from the market on the other..... No way would I bet on the market. LOL Thank you again. I loved this card, but nothing will ever take the place of the card you found with my favorite tongue in cheek remark.....I will always keep that flying pig card here at my desk, and everytime I say when pigs fly I look at your card and laugh. In fact when dh is trying to get me to agree to something he knows he has no shot at I just pick the card up and flash it in his direction. We both have gotten more chuckles out of that card than we could ever thank you for. Love, and hugs to the Queen of all Card Queens.

LOL Joyce I can see you flashing that card at Vic and the thought of it really cheered me! When we were coming home from Cincy and I was being pushed in the wheelchair where you are prisoner to the pusher..... we went by a shop that said Cincinnati Stuff or something like that. All I could see were pink pigs everywhere. That is the symbol of the city and I saw some with wings and wanted to badly to go in there and check it all out. But alas, I not only had the wheelchair pusher behind me but DH beside me who never stops to look when he has a goal in mind. And believe me his goal in mind was to get on that plane and get back home. He worried all weekend about the airport and plane being a crowded mess and the traffic terrible because it was Memorial Day. I kept telling him to relax Memorial Day is not a heavily traveled holiday, but would he listen? Not. When we finally got on our way home, he kept saying over and over how amazed he was there was no crowd. If he would just learn to trust what I have to say once in awhile. LOL. Have a great Sunday. PS Libby after I wrote the above I got a card from you. How about if I send you some money and you be the official card sender for me? I procrastinate soooo badly. I did manage to get a couple out last week.

I love to look for the "perfect" card and Lord willing I get to send them at just the right time.  I'd rather look for cards than groceries, that's true.  Best visit I had with El in Arizona was at a card/gift shop going out of business.  All cards were half off...had to use the credit card on that one... LOL.  

The woman at one of the card stores I go to said my sending cards was my ministry.  I like to think it is.  Every time I send a card it makes my heart smile.  Thank you.  Hugs, Libby

Hi Libby,

My appreciation goes out to you, too - I have saved all my cards in a special box (or in a pile on the counter) and I came across the last three you sent...Thanks so much...I used to love buying all kinds of cards and sending them out early...can't do it now, because they'd be lost in two minutes flat or eaten by the baby (she's crawling, standing, and cruising, and I expect walking within the month unless we can find some way to cryogenically freeze her until we're ready for that).

Anyways, thanks for your kind words!  You are sweet.  I agreee you are the Card Queen.

MK I am telling you the flying pig has caused more chuckles. I can not believe she actually found that card. Its like is was designed for me. I mean Libby does have a gift. How many of us have had a smile thanks to her. She really knows the right card to send at the right moment. I think she is right, it is a calling and the Queen of cards has it. I am so glad you got to take your trip. Do you happen to remember the name of the shop? If you can remember let me know.... Thanks so much L&H Joyce

I think the name of the shop had Cincinnati in it. It was in the airport. Pink pigs were all over the place. I soooo wanted to go in there. Maybe next time I will figure out a way. Pretty hard when you are being pushed in a wheel chair from point A to point B to stop in the middle and shop. LOL. Hugs MK
