Has Peg V posted recently? Haven't seen any from her, but often only skim the board lately, I must admit. We have been doing some major housecleaning the last few months. Hubby and I are ready to "downsize" now that the nest is (finally!) empty. I was ready BEFORE the nest was empty, myself! My brother just came from Missouri and spent his vacation loading up crap (24 foot truck!) to take back to his antique shop and sell for us, so I'm feeling very good about that...until I take a look around at all the crap that is still here!!!

Anyway...would like a Peg V update!

Hi Bev! I have stopped trying to downsize. It seems that everytime I do my dd moves in w/ me w/ my 3 granddaughters. So, I move from a small house to a larger one that will accomodate us. Should have just stayed w/ the original house they grew up in! lol Where is Mo is your brother's antique shop. I live in Mo and my best friend and I are always antiquing and go to flea markets.

I'm still here!!! I also can only skim the board occasionally. I'm taking classes at night, working on a Masters in Marketing and Communication, so I'm pretty busy. I'll be done with that craziness next spring, though.

I was wondering about Peg V too, glad you asked Bev! And glad you checked in too, Peg, we miss you! Good luck with the school, that is an admirable task!

Good to know that Peg is doing well. We will have to celebrate that degree! I'm just too lazy to go back and finish another one, although it would definitely increase options for the future.

Deb, my brother's store is in Marshall, Mo, which is about 30 miles from Sedalia. It's called "Court Street Classics." You should go check it out...I know for a fact he just got a lot of new inventory! LOL And MK, he could have asked me to pay HIM to take the stuff and I would have! But yes, he gave us a good price, and I think he'll make a few bucks on the deal as well. May as well be family who profits.

My kids have been in and out, too, Deb...so we're making sure we don't have enough room for them to keep doing that! LOL No...we'll still have three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Now we have 4 bedrooms and 3 full, 2 half baths. I can spend a whole day just cleaning bathrooms here! And my hub has severe arthritis, fibromyalgia, a few ruptured discs, one knee replacement under his belt...yadayadayada...so we need everything on one floor for him.

Getting old just sucks, sometimes....but it's better than the alternative!
