Well, we got in Sun am at 4:00.  Left on July 14 for State Championship - 15 year old sons team won!!!  It was so exciting.  Went to St. Augustine, FL for a week - so relaxing and peaceful.  Left on the 23rd of July for Seattle - got aboard the Diamond Princess and cruised to Alaska.  It was so nice!!! We did the Glacier Bay, Skagway, Ketchikan, Juneau, etc.  It was so nice being waited on hand and foot!!!  I did miss my 3 boys last week but my sisterinlaw kept them fed.  I go back to work tomorrow.  IT's THAT TIME AGAIN!!! SCHOOL!!!  Praying for a great year.  I saw that we have new members to the board and that Denise is out of pain now.  I never met Denise but I kept up with her reports thru the board.  I hate that we have had to have new members added to this board - hate bc but I'm glad that they found this board  and will have someone to help answer their questions and give support. 

Well, I'll check in again in a few days.  Pre-planning week is full of meetings and a rush to get your room in order......

Welcome back, Teresa: I thought I had done a lot of traveling, but St. Augustine to Alaska outdoes anything I have done. DH and I have been thinking about an Alaska cruise. Sounds like you had a good time. Maybe we will try one next summer. Hugs, Lauri

Welcome back!  I've been on that cruise and it is wonderful.  Now it's back to reality and doing your own cooking and cleaning up.

Yes, the real world hit me square between the eyes today when I went to work!!!  I couldn't sleep last night until late - still on Alaskan time.  So, I was sleepy all day - now I can't sleep again - so tomorrow will be fun.  Have to get this under control before the kids come back next week.  I'll have 18 first graders!!!!

Last night we ordered Chinese, tonight hot wings - tomorrow is Domino's 2 for Tuesday, HA HA HA.  I guess Wed. will be crunch day.  I've had to wash several loads of clothes and no one has made up my bed.....  On the ship, everytime my husband took a nap (which is often - his idea of vacation), they came in and made up the bed.  HA HA  I know our cabin steward was tired of DH sleeping.  So far, no one has offered to make my bed or bring me a coke... It's hard coming back to "reality"!

Well, off to take a hot bath and hope I can sleep.  Tomorrow is another work day!
