One of the docs won't be in so they called and cancelled.  That's the second appointment that's been cancelled on me for tomorrow.  Guess I gotta go to work.  I rescheduled the mammo and the onc for Columbus Day.  I've been taking way too much time off of work, so it will be good not to be out again so soon.

 

Don't think I haven't thought of a day off, but that's truly pushing the envelope.  I need the days saved for interviews.....

 

Oh yeah, I should let you guys know,  my boss is being not so nice.  I'm now looking. eyes

Could it be that (s)he has a problem with your new standing as a Dr? You will certainly find something else.

yeah, the whole atmosphere here as far as admin is concerned $ucks.  They didn't even professionally recognize me or give me a sign for my door!  He's really got issues with it.  My Ph.D. supervisor , Joel, feels it too, They aren't psychologist friendly here.  It's all run by MSW's, but he's not in the bind I'm in because the boss (MSW) wants control over the forensic team, and I'm on that.  If I were a clinic worker, I could get "rescued" by Mike, the MD, like Joel did and join their club, getting supervised by Mike.  I'd be able get my loans paid off on the Government and be happy as a clam.  Instead, I'm really in a toxic atmosphere, and have to look elsewhere.

 

I'm looking at school psychology positions, so I can grow up with my son and get summers off.  I'll do a clinical practice on the side.  I have to be supervised by Joel until end of January, and then I'm scot free and license eligible.
