Confused about my condition

good day! I'm having this small lump in my breast at the upper left side. it's painless to press or touch but sometimes it hurts one at a time. I don't know if there is a need for me to be worried. I'm still 17 years old and I don't know if what is going on with my breast.

Before you panic and think the worse, it could always be a cyst, or group of cysts.

I have them since I was 14, and I am now 51.

Check with your GYN, and see if perhaps a mammogram could be performed, and/or even an ultrasound.

I've been down this road lots of times, so deep breath....If it's a cyst, they don't always have to remove them. They can aspirate them, and in many cases they leave them alone.

The mammo and/or ultrasound will give a clearer picture of what's going on and thus what action to be taken.

Congrats on being thorough enough to discover this now, this early on, and going to get it checked out!!
