PlS I need some support and resassurance before my biopsy today

I had an ultrasound done on a palpable lump. Turned out to be 8mm. The radiologist was very confident in telling me it was a fibroidadenoma and to come back in 6 months to determine stability. He said if it grows we will biopsy but it is not going to grow (very confident)...
Of course after reading stories online of people who were told they had fibroidadenomas had them biopsied and it turned out to be something else (unlikely I know) but still.. I got freaked out and scheduled a biopsy. Here I am today.

I couldn't sleep the entire night thinking what about if that 2 percent is me... anyone had a similar experience?

Thank you so much for responding. I was very active on the prostate cancer forum too when my dad was diagnosed in 2009. It is a very active forum and the men there are so kind and considerate. I wish we had something like that here.

Thankfully my biopsy came back okay. I am still having shooting pain and zingers in that area. I still don't feel good, always scared in the back of my mind they missed something.

I am SO Sorry to hear about your friend, that is just heartbreaking. How is she doing? and how are you? I hope everything works out for the best and I truly hope the radiologist was wrong in this case. Please keep me updated. Hugs xx

I'm 16 years old going on 17 and have a family history of breast cancer. My mom had Breast cancer that spread down to ovarian cancer and to the blood at 27,her mother and grandmother as well. 5 weeks ago I had leaking from both breasts nipples as well as itching,scaling and burning with discoloration. I went to doctors 4 weeks ago and they said I had staph infection. I took antibiotics and then went back because it continued they took a sonogram and said that my lymph nodes were very swollen and my breast had inflammation. I also been having pain in breast. Two days ago I checked my breast because its been a week and a half since my period and I found a hard painless lump on my left breast.
