Hi ladies!  I have been non-existent on this board the last few months, and I am so sorry!  Hello to everyone... good to see you Patty !  Good luck with the move to Philadelphia!   Hi Glenda! Hi Lori! Hi MK (loved your computer story!) ! HI Luci ! Hi Jo-ANn!

I was working a full time job(45-50 hrs/wk)  for a local real estate agent, and lets just say these BIG TIME agents can be BIG TIME B1TCHE$ ! I just quit working for her on Friday, I refuse to work for someone that treats people as she does. So I have my life back again.  Unemployed and happy, that's me!  :-D

Going for a 6-month followup today ay 10:45 with my onc, no problems to report to her.... but I am wondering if all the super-stress i was under last week at work will show up in my tumor markers?  anyone know if ca27.29 can rise due to stress????

other than that not much  new.... just setlling back into normal life, and my hubby & kids are so happy that I am home more now, and that's enough for me!

what's new with everyone?!?!?!?  I love all the news about Herceptin... everytime I see it on TV I stand up and BOW and say YEP THATS THE I LEFT DUKE FOR !!!  i know thats why i am still here today. lovin it!

Hey Steph, good to see you! Glad you left that job that was so stressful. Who needs extra stress in this life, right? It is always good when everyone checks in. This summer has been a little slow with old friends, but we have made lots of new ones. I guess we will have to have another AWOL round up and have everyone check on someone else. LOL

I never told the next chapter of the computer story. Can you believe that Rashid, the tech I had to pay for a service agreement to talk to and then listen to a sales pitch, called me back that night at 10 PM to tell me there is a fan on the CPU that could be the problem. I told him forget it, we would take care of it here. He sounded upset like he had gotten into hot water. Maybe the sales pressure was not what he was supposed to do? LOL Still looking for the fan, no cross references to Chinese parts. I may have to buy a new computer but it will be on sale someplace not direct from Rashid. Gees.

MK- Rashid probably did get in hot water and was tyrying to log a follow up call to improve his call record with your issue.  too bad he called so late! 10pm! yikes! i would have hung up on him.  and only to tell you maybe it was the FAn which you told him in your first call??? ah, the irony of life.  what kind of pc is it?

Steph, my computer is a Compaq Presario 6000, bought three years ago. I was able to get the part I needed at Staples. We looked on the internet and that was too confusing, so I took the piece with me and was told that the fan which my husband took off the heatsink was sold in combo with the heatsink for only $20. HOWEVER, replacing that still has not stopped the problem. There is one more fan we will replace. Something is heating it up and shutting off the computer and turning it back on when it cools. Jo-Ann thinks it might also have something to do with my two computer hook up. We will keep trying. My son in law comes at Christmas so if we haven't solved it by then, he will. Meanwhile we shut down the computer properly and turn off the electricity to it so it won't come back on. LOL. 10:00 was late, but who knows what time it was in India? Hugs MK
