Hi Exqualls
Thank you so much for responding
It's nice to know someone is listening.
I have a doctor (who is also breast cancer surgeon) in the next town (an hour away) who does my varicose veins (funny I know) but anyway, I was there having an appointment for my veins and I asked her to feel my lump. She said "oh! it feels like a small rock" and sent me for the first ultrasound.
I haven't actually seen her since that day (about
8 months ago). The hospital just keeps sending me follow up ultrasounds (third one is coming up in April). I haven't heard a word from the doctor on this. I requested my ultrasound results myself and read them (I am a medical transcript
ionist) so the reports are easy for me to read. I am wondering why she hasn't asked to see me. I would like to have it excised and be done with it. My mother just went through breast cancer last year, my Aunt (her sister) just went through ovarian cancer 3 years ago, my sister has had two benign massed removed from her breast, My 18-year-old daughter had a mass removed from her breast that was benign. I just want this removed! Then they can take all the time they want to "watch it change and grow."
I guess the pocket of fluid is confusing as well, same with the dilated ducts and inverted nipple. Its just that they warn you about
all of these symptoms (lump, inverted nipple, heat, etc) and then when you go to the doctor, they TAKE THERE TIME in getting the bottom of things.
