I’m terrified. Got called for more imaging. 6mm spot but she described it as spiky. Not good. Trying to stay calm but can’t.

Try and stay calm, it could be just calcifications, which are benign in nature.

I get what your feeling.I had my first mammogram at 45 and they found a cyst that required a ultrasound and did a biopsy and it was a benign in 2017. Fast forward to May 2021. I request to have a 3D mammogram after being informed that I have dense breast tissue like most woman my age. I received a call back from my primarycare Drs nurse. I was told they found a small mass and I needed to schedule a Diagnostic Mammogram and Ultrasound.I have never had to get a Diagnostic Mammogram when they found cyst in 2017. My question is I was told this was a bigger mass it was 9 millimeters do they know from 3d mammogram images if its another cyst or cancer?

Sassy1818:
That's a question for your doctor. I also have dense breasts, and have had multiple biopsies, and need to get diagnostic mamograms from now on - also the results have all been negative.
