Sorry to show up only when I need help...

I have been really busy for the last couple of years, working full time and going to school in the evenings toward my Masters degree in Marketing and Communication. I haven't had much opportunity to even read posts, let alone respond. I apologize for that!

It's time to write my thesis (yes, I'm almost finished !!!), and I want to write about cause-related marketing, specifically as it relates to breast cancer. I would love to get some feedback from you all about what products or promotional items or events have meaning for you.

To the administrators of this site, I apologize if this isn't appropriate for this forum, and I won't be offended if you delete this note. Please don't kick me off the board, though, since I'm a BC survivor, and don't want to lose contact with all of these wonderful ladies!

Count me in, too. You really have been gone for a long time without checking in. The good thing is that you always know where to go for help. I am so happy that you are close to finishing your mba. What an accomplishment after you've gone through your fight with this dämned disease.

You're a role model to everyone who comes to this board and you are proof, certain, that life not only goes on after b/c, but can be better after b/c. This tequila is for you.

So that's where you've been all this time. Getting a Master's is no easy task when you're working full-time and sending the kiddies off to college. Glad it's almost over.

We'll all celebrate together. Hmmm, maybe we should all come to Columbus.

These are my questions...

1. Are there any products you buy specifically because the manufacturer supports breast cancer research? Does this loyalty extend to other brands from that manufacturer?
2. If you participate in Race for the Cure or Relay for Life (or other such events), how much attention do you pay to who the sponsors are? Do you buy the sponsor’s product(s) later?
3. If you buy cause-related merchandise, how do you buy it (for example, online or at a store)?
