My plane is leaving at 7:15 am and guess what the weather man is saying?  Terrible storms, tornado watch in effect from midnight to four am.  We need to be out of here by 4:30 for the drive to the airport. I am keeping my fingers crossed we make it and the plane can leave on time because this is trip where I change planes. 

Mother continues to sound wonderful.  The nurses at the Home said she has adjusted so well, they think we could take her out to dinner without causing any problems. 

You all take care and I will sign on again Monday morning.

Obviously I am back. I slept the clock around last night. On the plane home I was reading and dropped my book twice when I nodded off and almost lost my Coke once, too. Talk about tired!!!!!! My mother looked fine. She really has adjusted well, we took her out twice for dinner with the family. She seemed to really love that. Her short term memory is terrible, but she is doing very well otherwise. Still dressing to the nines with jewelry and all. The people at the home are really very nice. All seems well, already I am responding to less worry, blood sugar and blood pressure numbers are getting back to my normal range. Strange how stress affects them so much. Today I am doing nothing but resting.

Welcome Back. Im glad the trip turned out so well. Take some time out today and just relax.

MK: Welcome back! I'm glad to hear that your mom is doing well. Amazing how she has adjusted in such a short time. That is great! Glad that you got thru Mo before the bad weather hit St. Louis. Was quite a day here in Mo!

Take care of yourself and just rest today. You deserve it!
