Hi all! I don't post much anymore, but will try to more often. My Anatomy class is finally over. The last test was Thursday. What a relief! This was HARD! I realized that it was harder at the beginning mainly because I was recovering from the TRAM surgery, because once I felt like my old self again, it seemed easier.
Anyway, I participated in a Relay for Life this morning by taking the Survivor's Lap. It was a very small group, so it was rather disappointing. My friends had a team and invited me to do the lap. I think next time, I'll pick a different location. I couldn't stay (they were late starting), because I had to hurry home to get ready for an outing to see "Menopause, the Musical". OMG, if you haven't seen it yet, you must! It was a scream! DH even liked it, even if he was 1 of only a handful of men there.
I had a check up at the onc last Friday and it was all good news. The CA15-3 is down to 27! YEAH! It was hovering around 30 before. I lost more weight and my blood pressure was reasonably good. I feel absolutely great! The reconstruction has really changed how I feel about myself and that is surprising. I didn't think I felt that bad before, but I am loving the flat tummy! I actually LIKE to shop for clothes now. I got into a size 14 jeans! I haven't seen that size in YEARS!
Well, that's enough babbling. I just wanted to let you ladies know I was thinking about all of you this morning and those that are no longer with us. Thank you so much!
