I was just wondering if you had heard any results from your grandson's tests?

No we have not heard a thing yet. We figure the 4th holiday on Tuesday really slowed things up. The dr said something about decalcifying the bone tumor that was removed to test it, too. What that takes, I don't know. For the most part everyone is holding up well. Christian had a little downer yesterday worrying about what it all was costing and he wished he could get a job to help out. Kids can't work in TX until age 16. I told him he was not supposed to be worrying about the money at his age, that was his parents job and I was sure we could work it all out. What a kid. He is certainly special.

They organized a community band here and last night they held their first concert. Ages 14 (Christian) to 7o somethings who had not played in years. Carolyn played the school bass clarinet and she has not played one in 29 years. The concert was great. Enjoyed by many!

MK: The concert sounds like so much fun. We have a group like that here as well as one from our HS..called "Over The Hill Band". They perform (on a flatbed truck..lol) at all of the parades. They range in age from the newly graduated to those in their 70's. They have a great time and we all enjoy listening to them!

Your grandson certainly is a special young man. I am glad that you told him what you did about working. Kids worry too much today. As we all have experienced, the waiting game is the pits. But know that prayers and positive thoughts are being said and sent for you and your family.
