One year ago today was my last rads treatment. Wow, what a year since then. Nothing in my life is the same as then. New job, back to school with new goal in life, new booby, no more tummy, lost some weight, and soon a revised booby to hopefully match the new one! LOL I can't thank you ladies enough for being there for me then AND now. I can only hope to help someone the way you have helped me through all this. In some ways, and I hope you don't think I'm crazy, BC was one of the best things to happen to me. It has totally changed my outlook on life for the better. That's me - the ultimate optimist!

Great attitude!!! I think this disease does change us and not all for the bad. I have had a much happier attitude since being done with treatments too.

Congrats on your one year and on your new booby!

KATHY THAT SOUNDS GREAT!! It is weird that BC can be an actual blessing... I have depression that has been so much harder for me and it has been harder then heck to treat and also hard to get insurance coverage. (Due to the fact that I was not able to keep a job very long!!)
HOWEVER, when I get a scare that I may have mets... I get really freaked out because breast cancer can end this life that is has helped. BC is a BIG load to carry... so bless our hearts! Women are darn tough! Take care everyone! Karen in north Idaho
